We've added another artist!

We have a new artist! If you know her work, you'll immediately recognise Julia Jeffrey's gorgeous art :) Giftware, posters and prints featuring her work have just landed, with greeting cards arriving soon :)

Scottish artist Julia Jeffrey draws inspiration from the magic in nature, and from Scottish folklore and witchcraft history. Julia has created artwork for tarot and oracle cards, working with American and Italian publishers. A deep connection, beginning in childhood, with 17th century Scottish Witch, Isobel Gowdie, led first to an artistic and musical collaboration inspired by Isobel’s testimony, with American musician Gillian Chadwick (Ex Reverie), and later evolved and expanded into Julia’s Witch Sister tarot.

The head and body of a young woman appears above a thick tree branch, on which sits a red squirrel. Two more squirrels crouch on a branch above her. The woman is turning her head as if to look behind her. She has long brown hair with leaves stuck in it. Autumnal leaves and branches fill the scene. Colours are reds, oranges and browns.

The head and neck of a red fox, their face angled towards the front right. The background consists of swirls of branches and leaves in a rich green colour.
A sideways view of the head and neck of a heron. The background is a mottled purple with a swirl pattern.
A hedgehog shuffles through crisp brown autumn leaves lying on the ground. Woven branches rise upwards, and a leaf falls towards the ground. Colours are browns and reds.
An older woman with blue eyes stands facing the viewer. Her head is covered by a brown hood, and her long grey hair, some of it braided with blue braid, falls down below her face. She holds a staff, topped with a deer antler, upright in one hand. A sea of stars shine behind her.

A young woman wearing a long brown sleeveless dress with a pale long sleeved top underneath, is surrounded by flowers as she kneels on the ground. The front of her dress is gathered in her hands to form an apron containing sprigs of bog myrtle and yellow gorse flowers. Heather grows next to her. Behind her are harebells, with woody nightshade to the other side and nettles and yarrow to the front. Thistles appear to be tied into her long brown hair.

The head and chest of a woman with long red hair decorated with two feathers, and with lines of blue paint extending away from her eyes, looms into the picture above the head and body of a snarling brown striped cat. The background is teal and green vegetation.
The head and body of a raven standing facing towards the left, head tilted upward, behind which is a full moon. The background consists of swirls in a pale pink-brown colour.
A young woman crouches on a pile of stones, her hands resting on stones in front of her. In front of the stones, a little lower down, is a stone with a round hole in it surrounded by a circular pattern. The woman wears a headband with a raven skull attached to the front. A full moon rises behind her, and a silhouette of a hare leaps in front of it. An inscription over the moon reads: Up from the earth with tooth and claw we rise. Stems and flowers fill the rest of the scene.
The head and shoulders of a woman with a raven sitting on her shoulder. She has long dark hair and her face is decorated with patterns in blue paint. Her hands are held together against her body. On her wrist she wears a blue band with a raven skull attached. The background is a mottled brown with feathers and swirls drawn within.
